Design director, strategist and creative coder with more than 11 years experience working across branding and editorial design for digital and print. I have a passion for creating brands, which are both beautiful and impactful. Fundamentally I am a creative thinker and maker, I work from strategy to execution.
For me, design is a way of thinking and l always push the idea first. I currently direct a team of designers and developers, taught design at Shillington College for more than 2 years, acted as a consultant for multiple branding projects, have given talks and lectures most recently with Its Nice That and Nottingham design festival. I also worked as a mentor, judge and advisor for Design Week, Design Bridge Awards, among others.
My work has been featured in It’s Nice That, Lecture in Progress, Baseline, SiteInspire and Httpster. Aswell as being part ofthe most awarded design team at D&AD and Design Week awards.

The site was designed to be simple and minimal in look but given a sense of energy and musicality through the use of animations.
The Guardian turned 200 in 2021, I had the pleasure of working on the campaign and digital assets which ran alongside the celebration of the big day. The main idea for the work was to convey The Guardian's work as always a work in progress. A wonderful double entendre that sums up the liberal values of their journalism and the reality of working in an ever changing world.

Visual identity, app design and concept development for The Guardian's Daily app. The once aging app was given a new lease of life as part of a digital subscription drive. The app, a once a day edition akin to the newspaper was designed to reflect it's speed, in a more user centered and utilitarian manner.
